Ellen DeGeneres has been known for reminding her audience to "Be kind to one another" at the end of every episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show. The phrase somehow was used against her in the latest Twitter drive that turned into a thread of comments detailing their most insane stories about the TV host.

Comedian Kevin T. Porter launched on Twitter over the weekend a donation drive for LA Food Bank. In his tweet, he urged his followers to share their most crazy stories about DeGeneres and in exchange, he will give $2 to LA Food Bank for every story. To start with, Porter said Ellen is notoriously the meanest person alive

The tweet received hundreds of replies, sharing their unforgettable experiences with the award-winning host. One of several comments from verified Twitter accounts revealed Ellen has a very sensitive nose that everyone on the production of her show must chew a piece of gum before talking to her.

A food server at a vegan restaurant commented that Ellen almost got her fired for complaining to the resto owner about her chipped nail polish. Another Twitter user claimed Ellen fired a PA during a commercial break for leading her to set the "long" way.

Someone also alleged that the Finding Dory actress is policing the lunch order of her production crew. Apparently, nobody is allowed to eat fish so the staff would hide from her to eat what they want.

After two days, Porter's tweet accumulated more than 1,000 comments. The comedian said since it is hard to tell which stories are real and which are not, he decided to end the drive and donated $600 to the food bank.

DeGeneres has yet to respond to the tweets. However, on her video post on Monday, Ellen was seen wearing a T-shirt with "staff" written on it while building Legos to entertain herself while on self-quarantine at home. Many believe that it was Ellen's subtle way to hit back on her critics.

The TV host previously addressed the earlier gossips that she treats her staff less kindly off camera. In an interview with The New York Times in 2018, DeGeneres admitted that she gets affected when someone accuses her of mistreating her staff because she said it was a lie

"The first day I said: 'The one thing I want is everyone here to be happy and proud of where they work, and if not, don't work here.' No one is going to raise their voice or not be grateful. That's the rule to this day," she said.
