Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi have been married for more than a decade now and yet, speculations about their marriage never stops. Amidst the coronavirus outbreak in the U.S., the couple is oddly rumored again living apart.
As all Americans have been ordered to stay home to avoid contacting or spreading COVID-19, Portia de Rossi has been rumored to have left DeGeneres at their house in Montecito, California. According to In Touch, de Rossi has moved out of their home because the couple has been arguing about Ellen's job. The outlet alleged the Scandal actress wants the Emmy-winning TV host to retire but Ellen refuses and she has been working hard more than ever.
A source of the tabloid claimed DeGeneres has been trying to appease her wife by giving whatever she wants. The Finding Dory actress allegedly funded de Rossi's art company and buying any home she wants but nothing changed Portia's decision to leave.
Then, the tabloid backpedaled a little and claimed Ellen and Portia still love each other. It added that the couple may haven't given up on their marriage.
Gossip Cop debunked the new speculation that DeGeneres and de Rossi's marriage is crumbling apart. The publication noted that it is hard to believe In Touch claims especially at the time when everyone is afraid to go out of their houses.
Moreover, both Ellen and Portia are currently self-quarantining at their home in Los Angeles because of the COVID-19 outbreak. The two have been very active on social media, sharing the activities that they have been doing at home.
In her recent posts on Instagram, the TV host has been trying to learn a new hobby. Ellen has been calling her friends too such as couples Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel and John Legend and Chrissy Teigen. As she heard the couples' children in the background, Ellen admitted she wished to have children like her friends.
As for de Rossi, she has been very busy in the kitchen for the past couple of days. She is learning how to cook and feeding Ellen some of the new recipes that she has learned while on self-quarantine.
This is not the first time this year that the couple has been rumored living apart. Earlier this year, the Globe claimed Ellen and Portia lived separately to save their marriage. The site claimed the couple has managed to reignite the spark in their marriage they live apart for a while.
