It’s no secret that V is one good looking young man. With that said, the BTS star looks good on anything, from his outfits to hairstyle.

But even though V looks immaculate in all of his hairstyles, his recent permed one has driven fans into a frenzy. It is safe to say that it was one of the most, if not the most, popular hairstyles of the 24-year-old singer, songwriter, record producer, and actor.

The BTS members are known for changing their looks often, especially during a comeback. But since their future activities have halted due to the coronavirus pandemic, RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook didn’t do any drastic changes.

On March 21, an ARMY shared a post complimenting V’s curly hair. “Taehyung's hair is really pretty. Our Taehyung's hair is pretty even if he decides to grow it out or cut it, I love you,” they said. V then replied, “You won't see my perm anymore.. what do I do..”

And on March 22, V took to Weverse to share the latest photo of himself. While ARMYs were happy to see him, the first thing that they noticed was that his perm was gone. Fans then took to Twitter to pay their tribute to V’s permed hair.

“In loving memory or taehyung's perm, a nostalgic thread,” one wrote. “Everyone say goodbye to Taehyung’s long hair and perm,” another one posted. “You’re straight lying if you say taehyung’s perm isn’t the best thing that ever happened to you,” one ARMY shared.

Although ARMYs were sad that they have to say goodbye to V’s luscious curls, many welcomed his new look with open arms.

“Taehyung is feeling himself with his new hair cut and I love it,” one wrote. “Taehyung cut his hair, his beautiful healthy curly looking hair. It's okay tho he still looks like a mf whole ass meal! but it will never be forgotten. taehyung you're still a prince no wait a king,” another one tweeted. “Had to say goodbye to taehyung's perm and welcome his new haircut,” one fan said.

Permed hair or straight hair, V’s visuals will always be top-class. In fact, the BTS star looks so good in person that he led one employee from the VR (virtual reality) center where BTS filmed one of their Run BTS! episodes asking if he was created by “World’s Best Sculptors.”
