The Duchess of Cornwall, Camilla Parker-Bowles officially became Meghan Markle's mother-in-law in 2018. As it happened, the Sussex couple tied the knot almost two years ago at St George's Castle in Windsor Castle.
Since then, royal reports have been claiming that among all the members of the Royal Family, Duchess Camilla has been one of the royals who Meghan gets along well with. It was even shared that the Heir Apparent's wife is deemed to be the "ideal" mother-in-law to the Duchess of Sussex.
According to Cheat Sheet, the two Duchesses got to know each other even before the royal wedding. It was claimed that Meghan Markle had been building her ties with Prince Harry's father and step-mother "behind closed doors" prior to their union.
So, it was not entirely surprising why Prince Charles walked the former Suits actress down the aisle when her father, Thomas Markle could not attend the ceremony. The same goes for Camilla Parker-Bowles as she, reportedly, always made the now-Duchess of Sussex feel "welcome" in the British Royal Family.
The same publication further went on to explain that the Duchess of Cornwall has continued to make "extra efforts" for Meghan Markle. This was also said to be revealed by royal experts and commentators.
As per Express UK, royal commentator, Angela Levin has repeatedly "praised" the future King's wife for her consistent efforts in making Meghan feel welcome to the "Fold." She also mentioned that the Duchess of Cornwall has "gone out of her way" to make this happen.
While no specific details have been shared, the royal expert attested that Meghan Markle sees Camilla Parker-Bowles "ideal." She then noted that this has been quite apparent every time they get together on royal events and engagements.
The reason behind their "bond" is, reportedly, due to the fact that they are both "outsiders." The two Duchesses joined the Royal Family "from the outside," she said.
In the same report, it was said that several photos and clips largely show how the two royals "enjoy" the company of each other. But, the most iconic ones were reportedly seen during the 70th birthday celebration of Prince Charles inside the Buckingham Palace.
Aside from being a good company, the publication also revealed that Camilla Parker-Bowles is believed to be one of the people who "encouraged" and "supported" the Sussex couple's decision to leave the royal life behind. Some reports even noted that the Duchess of Cornwall told the couple, especially Meghan, to "follow her heart."
