Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were together for more than a decade. The romance between the two celebrities reportedly started in 2005 during the filming of Mr. & Mrs. Smith. However, their iconic relationship ended in 2016, and has since revealed to be on "not-speaking terms."

The couple had been deemed to be one of the most beautiful pairs in Hollywood. But, the way their relationship started reportedly speaks a different tone. As it happened, the Troy actor was still married to Jennifer Aniston

No direct confirmations were made in 2005 as to why the Friends star and Brad Pitt got divorced. But, the public was blaming Angelina Jolie for the fallout of the relationship.

Several years later, though, the Mr. & Mrs. Smith leads admitted that they fell in love on the set of the film in 2004. In fact, they even deemed the film as their most favorite flick.

According to Mirror UK, the now-divorced couple was "sneaky" during the filming of the movie. As it happened, no one knew from the set that they have feelings for each other.

The head of the film's security detail, who was not named, spoke with the publication and revealed that even him, who was always close to Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt did not know that something was going on between the two. But, "low and behold, was I wrong," he claimed.

The British bodyguard also shared that even his own mother knows that both of the celebrities have feelings for each other since the media was already focused on the rumors about Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's affair. He then revealed that he was then opposing his mother's views about the two actors as he was always with them on set. This is why he was so surprised upon learning that they got together shortly after Brad's divorce in 2005. Not to mention, they also revealed when was the time they truly fell in love with each other.

As per claims, Angelina reportedly told Vogue that they both felt "strong" feelings on set despite their efforts in keeping them. However, their feelings got a better hold of them, which resulted in various controversies.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt became a true item before the public shortly after their prior commitments were finalized. But, it is only after a few years when they decided to get married. As revealed, they chose not to tie the knot until gay couples are given the same rights to officially get married.
