Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip have been observing self-isolation in Windsor Castle. As the royal couple has higher risks of contracting the virus due to their ages, 94 and 98, respectively, it is only fitting that they stay out of London.

Upon their arrival in the royals' Berkshire property, Buckingham Palace released a statement from the monarch. She, reportedly, addressed the citizens of the United Kingdom as the country enters a "period of great concern and uncertainty."

Despite all the challenges and struggles that the pandemic has brought to everyone, Queen Elizabeth II went on to note that, in times like this, she is "reminded" of how the people of the country have worked together since then to achieve one "common goal." She also, reportedly, "assured' the public that she, as well as the members of the British Royal Family, is ready to play their part.

According to Express UK, the statement given by the Queen was not televised, as opposed to what the experts and the fans were expecting. Nevertheless, some experts and analysts are now looking forward to the monarch's reported televised address in the next few weeks.

As added by the publication, several commentators are certain that Queen Elizabeth II will give her "rare address" on air when the time is right. This will be "hugely important" as it will help "lift" the morale of the nation, one source added.

Although no one knows when this will exactly happen, it was explained that the Queen will know the "right moment." There is "no one more experienced" than she, the source continued.

In the same report, the source further said that the United Kingdom will be facing "very difficult times ahead." Accordingly, Queen Elizabeth II's upcoming televised address will surely provide "reassurance" to the people that this will all pass.

The talks of this rare address were said to emerge after the confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the country reached its all-time high. At the time of the source's statements about the matter, there were over 5,000 individuals already who have tested positive for the virus.

This seemingly alarmed everyone in the country as no one likely expected the number to soar that high. However, just a few days after these reports, the United Kingdom has now over 19,500 confirmed cases with a total of 1,228 deaths.

Nothing has been heard yet from Queen Elizabeth II since her last statement. But, if the sources' claims are true, then the British people will soon hear the head of the monarchy addressing the public amid the current crisis.
