Kate Middleton is known for her great style. The Duchess of Cambridge has quickly become a fashion icon after fans noticed that she doesn’t only wear affordable clothes, but she repeats them just like the rest of us.
It’s no secret that Kate Middleton looks amazing in anything that she wears, making these outfits sell out in a matter of minutes. Now, the Duchess of Cambridge, reportedly, used her style to connect with the women in the UK during her last royal engagement before the lockdown.
Kate Middleton wore a pink suit when she and Prince William visited an NHS center in South London to support the frontline workers. Royal commentator Angela Mollard claimed that the Duchess of Cambridge’s outfit had a secret meaning behind it.
"William and Kate visited the ambulance service with the NHS. I love the fact that Kate was wearing a pink Marks and Spencer suit. It was absolutely gorgeous, but I love the fact it wasn't designer. It just said 'I am one of you,’” she said. “She can afford to wear anything she likes but I love the fact that it was normal. A Marks and Spencer suit is what women in London really wear to work. She was effectively doing that."
Just like everyone else in the UK and most parts of the world, the Royal family is also practicing the implemented lockdown. While some people are still confused and worried about what’s going to happen, they still deliver “stability to the public."
"While members of the public may be divided on how they should be funded and what role they should play, they're certainly up there as a steadying influence in the UK,” the Royal commentator added. “They're the ones that make everybody feel content and safe. With the Queen obviously at Windsor and Charles up in Scotland, I think William is very much stepping up to take the reins. He was the first of them to speak about coronavirus and to instruct on what to do. And others like Meghan and Harry and Charles and Camilla have followed."
Meanwhile, a previous poll revealed that the public believes that Prince William should step up for Queen Elizabeth and Prince Charles during the coronavirus pandemic. The poll asked: “Should William act as stand-in King to save Queen from coronavirus risks?” and 87 percent of the voters answered yes. Only 249 (12%) out of 2010 voters said “no,” and 21 voters (1%) said, “don’t know.”
