Ozark season 3 recently arrived on Netflix and dropped all its episodes at once on the streaming platform. A lot of things happened in the new installment, making viewers wonder whether or not Ozark season 4 will happen. Right now, there is no certain answer to that, given that Netflix hasn't yet made any announcements about the renewal status of the series.

Netflix has yet to confirm whether Ozark season 4 will be renewed or canceled. But despite the lack of announcement, fans are still certain the series is coming back for more. In addition, the series is also one of the most popular shows in the streaming platform, so there's a huge chance it will be renewed rather than being canceled.

A lot of people were also able to watch the recent installment due to the health crisis happening around the world right now. Many were staying at home at the moment and CarterMatt noted that several statistical data showed that a lot of shows have been watched across different platforms. Yet, there is still a particular concern when it comes to Ozark season 4.

Netflix has made a lot of big cancelations over the recent months, including Anne with an E, Santa Clarita Diet, as well as the entire Marvel lineup. And just last week, Messiah is the latest series canceled at the streaming platform. Although, some fans have made petitions to renew these series, it looks like Netflix is firm with its decision.

As for Ozark season 4, fans were confident it would be renewed, largely because of its perceived performance. Netflix doesn't release ratings, but it's apparent that a lot of viewers are watching the Jason Bateman-led series. Moreover, the series managed to generate more viewers over time, and the streaming platform may want to keep the series.

There are also a lot of stories still worth-exploring in Ozark season 4. The previous installment ended with some big surprises and a huge power shift. Marty Byrde (Bateman) and his wife Wendy (Laura Linney) face a new danger, which sets the stage up for a potential new season. One of the big moments was when one of Omar Navarro's (Felix Solis) men killed cartel lawyer Helen Pierce (Janet McTeer).

Helen planned to kill the Byrdes and take over the business, but Navarro saved the family at the last moment. Marty and Wendy were actually working for Navarro, with the latter hugging the couple as they reeled from the shock of Helen's death. It looks like Marty and Wendy will get their hand very dirty since they are now working directly for Navarro.
