Ozark season 3 is finally arriving on Netflix later this month, after being on hiatus for about a year and a half. Many were excited to see what will happen next to the Byrde family, and the trailer hints more problems are coming. Marty and Wendy, in particular, would be needing some marriage counseling.

Netflix released the official trailer of Ozark season 3 on Thursday, Mar. 5, and showed that life isn't getting any easier for the Byrde family. They had to deal with the local criminals and a Mexican cartel, and also need to face some internal conflicts as well.

Based on the synopsis, Ozark season 3 is set six months later following the events in the previous installment. The casino is operating, but Marty and Wendy weren't in good terms. The two are fighting for control of the family's destiny.

Marty wants to keep the status quo, but Wendy plots for expansion with the help of Helen and drug cartel leader Omar Navarro. However, everyone's lives are thrown into chaos when Wendy's brother, Ben, arrives in town.

At the start of the trailer, Wendy's voice over can be heard saying: "We moved here to start over." She then continues saying you'll die if you don't move forward. The clip then shows Wendy pulling out a gun and seemingly pointing it to Marty.

Wendy is trying to expand the casino business, but Marty tries to bribe Ruth to keep quiet about what's really going on. Marty asked Ruth not to tell his wife they're moving money in the new casino. But, it looks like Ruth isn't fine with the idea and told Marty she's not his marriage counselor.

But, Marty and Wendy were actually in the middle of some marriage counseling in Ozark season 3. The trailer shows the two were unsuccessful in trying to reconcile their differences. During the session, Marty told Wendy that he's trying to protect their family, but she responded that his reason was a "tired excuse."

Ozark is one of the most popular series on Netflix, created by Mark Williams and Bill Dubuque. The series follows the Byrde family, they were forced to relocate from Chicago because a money-laundering scheme goes wrong. Jason Bateman plays the patriarch of the family, Marty Byrde, who sets up a bigger laundering operation in the Ozarks to make amendments to a Mexican drug cartel.

Ozark season 3 will be available on Friday, Mar. 27, on Netflix.
