Outlander season 5 episode 8 is scheduled to arrive within a few weeks on Starz, with the title "Famous Last Words." This will be an emotional episode as it will see the Frasers dealing with different heartaches. The family is mourning, while Roger was separated from everything and everyone he loves.
In Outlander season 5 episode 8, Brianna got an offer of a generous gift of land. But then, she's not interested in all of these and all she wants is to get her husband back. That's the only thing that matters the most to her, and we're going to see her pursuing that within this episode.
However, some problems may arise along the way, which could lead to further questions and fears in the future. The major concern here is Stephen Bonnet, as he could be making his presence felt in the most terrible way. He is capable of hurting people and doesn't care who's on the receiving end of it.
Roger's fate is still in question right now, and it's yet to be seen what Brianna will do in order to save her husband. The previous episode left views hanging, questioning the future of the couple. But aside from this, another character will be dealing with heartbreak in Outlander season 5 episode 8.
Murtagh's death was soul-crushing and devastating for Jamie in the previous episode. He couldn't accept what happened and tried to bring Murtagh's body back to Claire in the hopes that he could be saved. But then, Jamie recognized he couldn't save him and he felt devastated.
Speaking to Elle, Sam Heughan discussed how Murtagh's death will impact his character in a huge way. The actor said Jamie is not only losing his godfather, but he's also losing his last real contact with Scotland; the last member of his blood aside from his aunt and daughter.
Heughan further explained that Jamie losing Murtagh is like losing his rock and losing his point of safety. Also, they do love each other but it was never spoken of. Yet, despite that, Murtagh was always there for Jamie, and likewise.
In another report, there is no new episode airing next week on Starz, so viewers may need to wait for a little while. Reportedly, the network will be using the next weekend to air a number of episodes this season, rather than releasing a new one.
