Meghan Markle hasn't acted since she left Suits in 2018. Now, rumors have it that she is ready to make a TV comeback in a reality show.

According to Heat, the Duchess of Sussex is set to make an appearance in the new Canadian reality-show, titled I Do, Redo. The 10-part series will feature 10 married couples who will revisit their first wedding disasters and will eventually get another chance to have the wedding of their dreams. The episodes will, reportedly, stream worldwide by Netflix.

Several reliable entertainment sites have already dismissed this rumor. Moreover, CTV Communications, the Canadian network that airs I Do, Redo, also released a clarification that Meghan will not appear in their show.

But Heat still insisted that there is a high possibility that Meghan will appear in the show as it was hosted by one of her closest friends and Toronto wedding stylist Jessica Mulroney. Heat cited a source as saying the Duchess of Sussex's guest appearance isn't "fixed" but it would help in her plan to be financially independent of the royal family's public funding.

The tabloid added Meghan and Prince Harry are "determined" to stay in Canada for the foreseeable future. The couple's decision, allegedly, coincided with the offer for Meghan to appear in the reality show.

The outlet's claims are dubious for many reasons. Firstly, the couple had already moved to California before Canada closed its borders due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Secondly, the Sussexes camp has only confirmed one gig for Meghan so far and that is her narrating role for the documentary, Elephants, in return for a donation to charity Elephants Without Borders. The film will premiere in April 2020 on Disney+.

The I Do, Redo reality show has already premiered on March 22. It has so far released three episodes and none has Meghan on it.

Gossip Cop noted that this is not the first time Heat published a false story about Megan. Earlier this month, the tabloid also claimed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were expecting their second baby.

Meghan Markle rose to fame when she played the role of Rachel Zane in the legal drama Suits. She quit the show in 2018 after seven seasons.

Reports have it that the mother-of-one has no plans for now to make a show like Suits. But a source revealed to Us Weekly that Harry has been encouraging his wife to voice-over work, writing, producing, and directing instead.
