Meghan Markle has been accused of demanding Prince Harry to get a job as the couple has officially ended their royal duties. The Duchess of Cambridge allegedly pressuring her husband to get to find a job as they are already short of cash.

The National Enquirer published a cover story this week with a headline, "Meghan Orders Harry: Get A Job - We Need Cash!" The tabloid claimed Meghan is desperate for money as she is worried that their expenses worth $8 million is going to deplete their bank accounts.

A "high-level palace" source of the outlet claimed Harry and Meghan are in debt due to expenses from the house they rented in Canada, their security costs, and the agreement that they will repay the British government for the $3 million renovation cost of their Frogmore Cottage home in the U.K.

"Meghan's terrified her champagne dreams of being a Hollywood queen will be shattered by this financial nightmare and is insisting Harry get off his duff and solve the crisis," the source said.

The new rumor about the couple came out as President Donald Trump made a statement that Americans won't pay for the Sussexes' security while living in the country. The couple, recently, moved from Canada to California.

Gossip Cop noted that, while it's true that the Sussexes will no longer receive public funding after they step down as senior members of the royal family, it is not true that the couple is struggling financially. It is worthy to note that the money that the royals get from state funding goes mainly on maintaining the royal residences and their security.

The majority of the British royal family's wealth comes from the income of their estates across the UK. The most notable of all is the Duchy Of Cornwall, which is currently managed by Prince Charles.

Reports stated that the future king will continue to provide financial support to the couple although it is not clear whether or not the money will come from the Duchy of Cornwall. Moreover, Harry also received a significant amount of inheritance from his late mother, Princess Diana, and his great grandmother, the Queen Mother, upon their death.

Additionally, Meghan is also set to make her Hollywood comeback soon. The Duchess of Sussex has landed a job in the upcoming Disney documentary, titled Elephant. Meghan is set to narrate the documentary that is slated to release on April 3 on Disney Plus.
