Prince Harry officially turned his back from being a senior royal to be “financially independent” with Meghan Markle. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex shared that they intend to spend their lives outside the Royal family.

It was previously confirmed that Queen Elizabeth supports Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s decision. But just like most decisions, theirs also come with a price.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will not only lose their HRH titles and the Duke of Sussex’s military title, but they will also be banned from using the word “royal” in their activities. And now that they are officially not senior royals, new details about their royal status have emerged.

"There are some very interesting facts emerging just over the past couple of hours about their future relations with the Royal Family,” journalist and broadcaster Dan Wootton said. ”Buckingham Palace or no other royal communications representatives including palace spokespeople or household representatives or royal sources will speak anymore on behalf of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Instead, they now have this PR company in the US which has previously represented people like Michael Jackson and Harvey Weinstein. They are now representing the couple."

Meghan Markle’s estranged half-sister appeared to not be impressed with the Duchess of Sussex’s decision. She even compared the former actress to Jim Carey in Dumb and Dumber.

"I think desperate times call for desperate measures. I think that speaks loudly about their position and their need to candy coat everything that's happened,” Samantha Markle said. "When I see her, I always see the face of my little sister. It's like Jim Carey in Dumb and Dumber, it's like one in a million. You're saying there's a chance. This little part of me thinks, wow. There's a pandemic. Maybe this will be the chance. Maybe she'll feel something. Maybe she'll come around and feel how short and precious life, family and people are and not objectify them."

Previous reports revealed that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be creating their own TV firm. Rumor has it that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be providing voiceovers and producing documentaries on “worthy causes,” and this is where they will be earning their money.

“The sorts of deals they will do will be more along the lines of the documentary series the Duke is executive producing on mental health for Apple TV,” a source told the MailOnline. “It’s a new model, admittedly, but they are determined to prove to the family that this can work.”
