Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are now officially non-working royals. They will now cease to represent the Queen and the Crown as they live their lives outside the British Monarchy, specifically in the United States.

In January, the Duke and Duchess made a shocking announcement to step down as senior members of the British Royal Family. They also said that they want to live a "financially independent" life away from the United Kingdom.

While it took weeks before the deal of their royal exit has struck, they all came to agreements with the other senior royals and the Queen. As reported, they will divide their time between the UK and North America.

A 12-month review will also be set in place for their exit. So, by next year, they will all meet again and see how it all worked out for the Sussex couple and the British Royal Family.

According to The Independent UK, this "review" set in place has become a huge sign that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry might still return to the royal fold. Royal expert and biographer, Penny Junor, reportedly, said that Queen Elizabeth II has seemingly left the door "ajar" for the Duke and Duchess if things would not work well for the couple in the United States.

Although this is one of the most apparent reasons why there is a "12-month review" for Megxit, the royal expert noted that it is highly possible but, "not very likely."

He then, reportedly, continued to share that whether the Duke and Duchess choose to return to the Royal Family in the future, it seems like this has become "irrelevant" now given the pandemic crisis that the UK and the world are facing.

Express UK released a similar report. However, royal expert Richard Fitzwilliam was said to have a different angle about the matter.

As revealed, he stated that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are not allowed to use their titles, including the royal-born Prince's military titles. But, he, reportedly, pointed out that the Queen has left the posts "vacant" for now.

It was also claimed that the Monarch will review the vacancies after a year from today. Accordingly, he believes that the Sussex couple may still return to the United Kingdom and continue to live their lives as senior royals.

While these are all speculations and theories based on the revealed details of Megxit, as well as recent events, no one knows for sure if this will truly happen. Nevertheless, a lot can happen in 12 months. So, royal experts and analysts are seemingly leaving the door open for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's return.
