When cleaning the toilet, Allred revealed she uses a different pair of gloves and brushes. In each toilet inside the monarch's home, she utilizes different tools for cleaning. According to Hello! Magazine¸ it's an important move to stop the spread of the coronavirus.

Dusting

Allred advised that to remove the dust from the device effectively, a damp cloth should be used. This can also be used to clean the walls. Damp clothes can remove any dust that may be carrying germs so that it won't spread across each surface.

Furniture and Windows

The housekeeper never tries to spray any product directly onto wood or windows, as it can leave a stain on the furniture. Instead, she will put it on the cloth and wipe it on the surface. This way, there will be a barrier between the germs and potential coronavirus bacteria on the cloth and the furniture or windows.

Microwave

The inside of the microwave can carry virus, too, and Allred has a useful hack against it, Glamour noted. Put a lemon inside a dish with a little bit of water and microwave it for three minutes. It will help loosen up the dirt or food particles inside so that it will be easier to wipe clean. The steam and scent will also help to freshen up the microwave.

Hard-Water Deposits And Mildew

Hard-water deposits or limescale can be removed by a homemade paste of two tablespoons of salt and one teaspoon of white distilled vinegar. Spray the mixture and let it sit on the surface for about 10 minutes before removing. If the stains seem to be stronger, then let it sit for a longer time.

For the mildew, mix equal parts of lemon juice and baking powder and mix until it becomes a paste. Apply to the area and let it sit for two hours and then rinse.
