Grey's Anatomy season 16 finale is almost near and one of the major stories here could be about Kim Raver's Teddy Altman. Her romantic life is currently in the middle of a messy situation. She's with Owen Hunt and they have a baby together, but then, she's also with Tom Koracick just recently.
Speaking to ET Online, Raver teased fans what to expect in Grey's Anatomy season 16 finale. She revealed that it may not wrap up neatly and there are "crazy things" coming up. The actress said that she and executive producer Krista Vernoff what's next for Teddy.
Raven shared they do walk Teddy into and try to understand why she's doing what she is doing. She revealed they're not going to wrap up her storyline in a neat little bow. It may likely take some time and there'll be some messiness before Teddy gets some clarity.
As for the season 16 finale itself, Raver said the writers are good that the episode will totally work as a finale, adding that viewers will laugh and cry simultaneously. She then teased that viewers will get some answers, but will also get some new questions at the same time.
Meanwhile, in the finale synopsis, Owen also makes a shocking discovery. He probably finds some valuable information about Teddy and Koracick. It's interesting to see what will happen to these three, especially since the "wedding" of Owen and Teddy is just around the corner.
Elsewhere, Hayes will ask Meredith a surprising question. This is also an interesting storyline, as he'll likely ask her to go out on a date. Many were actually rooting for Meredith's happiness, and it remains to be seen as to what or who will be the source of it.
Grey's Anatomy season 16 finale is coming next week on ABC and this may feel strange to some. Originally, the plan is to deliver 25 episodes this season. But some things changed due to the current health crisis, and the series ended up having 21 episodes instead.
Thus, some things may not be fully resolved in the final episode. Perhaps, the remaining episodes that weren't aired this season might be part of season 17. If the current situation will be resolved immediately, the cast and crew can also start working this summer.
Grey's Anatomy season 16 finale airs on Thursday night, Apr. 9, on ABC.
