Prince Harry joined Meghan Markle at the studio when she did her voiceover work for the Disney documentary Elephant. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were a show of force while Meghan recorded her work at the Pinewood Studios in London last October.
According to producers Mark Linfield and Vanessa Berlowitz, Prince Harry helped his wife with some of the pronunciations to the script for Elephant. In an interview with People, the filmmakers said that it was amazing to see the duke giving pointers and support for the duchess.
Berlowitz said that Prince Harry also gave his wife some direction to her voiceover work. The Duke of Sussex apparently enjoyed his "own Hollywood moment on the set."
The filmmakers further revealed that Meghan was fascinated by the subject of the documentary as it represented female empowerment. Berlowitz said that Meghan seemed to relate to the elephant herds' journey since she just gave birth to her first-born child with Prince Harry when she did the voiceover.
Contrary to earlier reports that Prince Harry hustled for Meghan to get this job, the filmmakers clarified that the Duchess of Sussex went through an audition. They used her voice from her former TV show Suits and tried it on some of the scenes of the documentary to see if she was a good fit.
Elephant follows the story of Gaia, a 50-year-old matriarch, her younger sister Shani, and Shani's one-year-old son Jomo. The documentary is now streaming on the Disney Plus platform.
Meanwhile, Meghan is reportedly considering many offers in Hollywood but a lot of these are quite cheesy roles. A source told the Daily Mail that the former TV star is careful about choosing her next project as the critics will likely give her a hard time.
The Duchess of Sussex has some apprehensions that people will not take her seriously as an actress after her short stint as working royal. So, Meghan is said to be sending feelers through her agents that she would like to work with esteemed director Ava DuVerney if the script is right.
Both Prince Harry and Meghan are also getting "lucrative offers" from outfits in Japan. They've received a commercial job that will be enough to pay for their protection officers in Los Angeles.
The Sussex pair moved to Los Angeles in the middle of March from Vancouver, Canada to start their life as non-working members of the royal family. Prince Harry and Meghan figured that they will have more opportunities in the West Coast than in Canada.
