Prince William and Prince Harry have been talking to each other amid this coronavirus pandemic. They were a source of comfort for their father, Prince Charles, who was recently stricken with the virus but is now doing fine.
A source told Us Weekly that the royal brothers gave their father "a great deal of comforts" as they had conversations while Prince Charles was recovering. However, as much as this seemed positive, Prince William and Prince Harry's relationship is far from mended.
The source said that there is still some awkwardness between the Dukes of Cambridge and Sussex. Apparently, Prince William is still hurting over the fact that Prince Harry is not back home in London to support the royal family in this public health crisis.
Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, have been doing their part to represent the monarch. They were able to visit the NHS and speak to some of the medical frontliners helping to save as much lives as possible in this pandemic.
The Sussexes, on the other hand, moved from Vancouver to Los Angeles a few days before Prince Charles confirmed that he is positive for COVID-19. Prince Harry reportedly told his father that he could come home but Prince Charles insisted that his second son need not travel as he feels fine after showing mild symptoms of COVID-19 only.
The source went on to say that Prince Harry confides about his worries and fears for his father and the rest of the vulnerable members of the royal family to his friends in London. He calls them up and tries to shield Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, from the stress and worry.
Meanwhile, there's special reminder of Prince Charles' love for his two boys in his home office in Birkhall, Scotland. He recently made a video to mark the opening of a new hospital which will specifically address patients with COVID-19 symptoms.
Royal fans, however, saw in the video that Prince Charles has plenty of photos of his family members in his home office. Apart from photographs of Prince William and Harry, there were also some images of his grandson, Prince George, the Queen and Prince Philip, the Queen Mother and Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall.
The Prince of Wales is still staying in Birkhall even as he is no longer in self-isolation and looks to be recovered from the coronavirus. Camilla, on the other hand, is still in self-isolation.
