Prince Harry has a new working team with Meghan Markle in California. The Duke of Sussex apparently made one specific instruction when it comes to taking any work offers for him and his wife now that they are looking to earn a private income away from the royals.
According to Daily Mail, Prince Harry instructed his staff not to take any offers that will make fun of Queen Elizabeth or the royal family. He apparently told them that they his relatives are off limits so any work that will be detrimental to his grandmother, his father, Prince Charles, and his brother, Prince William, are off the table.
This means that Prince Harry and Meghan might not take the offer from The Simpsons producer for the Sussexes to guest star. The producer, Al Jean, relayed his invitation during an interview on Radio Times after learning that Meghan likes to do voiceovers.
The Simpsons is a long running animated series that often mocks personalities and events. While it's a popular and iconic show, Prince Harry apparently told his new staff that he doesn't want to have bad blood with his royal relatives.
Sources also told Daily Mail that Prince Harry and Meghan are receiving numerous offers from Hollywood. Their agent, Nick Collins of the Gersh Agency, said that some of these offers are in advertising, commercials and other marketing promotions from liquor brands, medical companies, banks, sports and entertainment firms.
Collins has been working with Meghan for a long time since she started her acting career nearly a decade ago. He was instrumental in helping her land her biggest role in the TV series Suits and he was one of the Sussex pair's wedding guest.
Sources also said that Collins is speaking with investors from Silicon Valley and Hollywood, as well as streaming studios like Netflix, Amazon and Hulu. It's still unclear, however, if the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are going to venture into movies or television, which is Meghan's wheelhouse.
Prince Harry has a soon-to-be released project with Oprah Winfrey. The Duke of Sussex signed on for mental health documentary with the talk show host prior to his step back as a royal. The film is apparently set for airing later this year. The Duke of Sussex said that this documentary is a project close to his heart because he also opened up to his own mental struggles.
