Prince Charles is now on the "mend" after testing positive for COVID-19. Clarence House confirmed the good news earlier this week as he is now officially "out of isolation."

Shortly after the confirmation, the Prince of Wales released a video message making his first address to the nation over the pandemic crisis that the country and the rest of the world is facing today. This was followed by another video appearance on Friday as he reportedly opened a new hospital in East London.

According to Hello!, Prince Charles made "royal history" as he is the first member of the British Royal Family to open a hospital via video link. He reportedly officially open the NHS Nightingale in response to the current crisis in the country.

The Prince of Wales was also said to express his gratitude as he was "enormously touched" that he was asked to open the hospital. He then reportedly deemed the new structure as a "message of hope" intended for those who need it the most.

It was noted by the publication that the hospital is built for the "intensive care" of the infected individuals. The facility features over 4,000 beds, which will significantly help the current condition of the health sector in the United Kingdom. It was also revealed that it only took nine days to build the NHS Nightingale.

Prince Charles went on to thank all of the people involved with the project. He reportedly gave a "very big thank you" to all the planners, builders, support staff, and the "generous companies" who donated services and equipment for the new hospital.

Aside from all the people who made NHS Nightingale possible, the Prince of Wales also gave thanks to all the people who are "currently working" in the health service, as well as the "voluntary workers" who will reportedly work in the hospital.

In a similar report published by Vanity Fair, royal aides revealed that Prince Charles has been "quick to embrace" the digital revolution amid the pandemic. It was also shared that his efforts have become more apparent as he wants to continue his work despite the need to stay indoors due to COVID-19.

The same publication stated that the future King has created a digital office inside Birkhall, where he and Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, have been staying for their quarantine. He is "very comfortable" working on his laptop "like the rest of us" amid the lockdown, one source claimed.
