Prince Charles has tested positive for COVID-19. The news released by the Clarence House last week shocked the world as the Heir Apparent became the first member of the British Royal Family to contract the virus. Fortunately, though, his wife Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, reportedly, tested negative for the virus.

Aside from the growing concern of the public toward the future King of the United Kingdom, another apparent issue has been developing after confirming the Prince of Wales' condition. As it happened, he, reportedly, met with Queen Elizabeth II less than two weeks prior to his testing.

According to Express UK, several experts noted that Prince Charles started to become "contagious" after the last day of carrying out his engagements. This was said to be on March 13, which was also the day after he met with his mother, the Queen of the British Monarchy.

While no further assertions were made after the Clarence House released the confirmation about the royal's health status, Buckingham Palace, reportedly, made an update about the Queen's condition. As stated, the monarch "remains in good health."

The statement from the Palace also reiterated the last time Prince Charles and Queen Elizabeth II met and made contact. Nevertheless, it was emphasized that the monarch has since followed all of the necessary and "appropriate advice" for her wellness and "welfare."

As to how the Prince of Wales contracted the disease, this has remained unknown since the royal, reportedly, attended several engagements before the United Kingdom has officially observed social distancing and self-isolation. So, this can no longer be traced.

The series of statements released by the royal officials seemingly assured the public that the Queen is well amid the Heir Apparent's virus contraction. However, the same publication recently released a report revealing that some royal experts and commentators believe that this should not be taken lightly.

ITV's royal correspondent and insider, Chris Ship, reportedly, emphasized that the possibility of Prince Charles infecting the Queen with COVID-19 should not be "ruled out." It was "too close for comfort," he added. He then, reportedly, pointed out that "it is only a day's difference" before the future King was claimed to be contagious, which one cannot rule out, especially on "medical grounds."

Amid his assertions, another royal expert, Lizzie Robinson, reportedly, said that aside from his meeting with the Queen, he also went to a fundraising event on the same day. She then revealed that, based on the photos of the gathering, the room was "ram-packed full of people."
