Jesse Lingard is more likely to pass up on offers from other clubs even one coming from Arsenal. The midfielder is said to be more inclined to remain at Old Trafford and instead of bringing his talent elsewhere. Lingard will word hard to regain the confidence of Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Despite the recent decision by Lingard to make Mino Raiola as his representative, it is understood that the attacker intends to remain where he is. He will be fighting to win back his first-team position when the games resume.

According to Metro: "The midfielder wants to fight for his place at Old Trafford and won't allow himself to be pushed out of the club."

In the season so far, Lingard played in 35 games though more than half as a substitute. He only scored two goals, which likely explained why Solskjaer appeared to be losing faith in the 27-year-old winger.

As the report recalled, the Norwegian boss and his player are not exactly in good terms. Lingard was disciplined last summer over an unsavory image he shared on social media and was reminded that his stay with United also demands of following certain moral standards.

During that incident, Solskjaer indicated that his managing approach will be "old-school, old-fashioned, quite big on discipline, and self-discipline."

You have got to be a strong character to play here. It is not like I can tell them to pass from A to B, to C to D. They have to make their own decisions, and in life as well," the manager said.

Such disagreements fueled the rumors that Lingard will be offered for sale. However, it seemed more realistic that the midfielder is being considered as an asset that will help in the targeted signing of Borussia Dortmund striker Jadon Sancho.

Lingard at the moment holds a value of £30 million and converting him to cash will indeed help out in generating the cash need to fund the acquisition of the 20-year-old Sancho, who has become the subject of hiring plans by elite clubs in Europe.

On the other hand, Lingard might be convinced to make the move since the gameplan mapped by Solskjaer for the United first-team no longer makes him a priority on the squad. In recent games, the United midfield zone has mostly been headlined by Bruno Fernandes, Scott McTominay, and loan signing Odion Ighalo.

In case he is considering to play elsewhere in the Premier League, Mirror said Lingard has attracted the attention of Everton and Arsenal. Supposedly, Gunners boss Mikel Arteta will want to get the attacker's signature in the summer.

Lingard can also look beyond England for his next stop as Roma and Atletico Madrid would want the midfielder to add on their roster.
