Being the biggest boy group in the planet right now, BTS certainly pumped up their fashion game. While RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook used to settle with just a plain shirt and a pair of jeans or shorts, they now walk around in designer labels from head to toe.
BTS has a team, which includes a styling team, who dresses the BTS boys during their tours, live performances, guest appearances, events, and more. But just because they already have a team behind them, that doesn’t mean that the BTS boys don’t have the power to say what they want to wear anymore.
Big Hit Entertainment released its family photoshoot back in February, where all the male artists wore a black and white ensemble. Everyone was wearing formal attire, from their suits to their footwear — or so it seemed.
Just like everyone else in the picture, Jungkook looked handsome and dashing in his outfit. But upon a closer look, it was realized that the BTS star was wearing something informal.
Instead of slacks, Jungkook was wearing sweatpants. Since the 22-year-old singer, songwriter, and record producer had a long trench coat on, nobody suspected that he had sweatpants underneath it until a snap of him putting his hand on his pocket flaunted the stretchy band of the activewear.
As if that’s not enough, Jungkook was also wearing a pair of platform shoes instead of formal ones like the rest of the artists. It seems like the BTS star still wanted to put his own style while following the theme of the shoot at the same time. (Check out the photos here).
As expected, ARMYs had a field day talking about Jungkook’s fashion choice during the Big Hit Entertainment family photoshoot.
“No one but Jeon Jungkook! My boy is really one of a kind,” one wrote. “He creates fashion,” another one noted. “He be like. I still followed ‘wear all black rule,” one shared. “And yet he looks better than all of us in our best outfits,” another one said.
Meanwhile, Jungkook’s sweatpants and platform shoes are not the only ones that surprised ARMYs. When BTS shared its BTS “MAP OF THE SOUL: 7” Concept Photo Sketch #2 on social media. The post showed a much brighter version of BTS “MAP OF THE SOUL: 7” Concept Photo version 3, and more relaxed and fun snaps for BTS “MAP OF THE SOUL: 7” Concept Photo version 4.
Sitting in the middle is Jungkook, who looked fierce in his dark suit and bowtie. However, it was hard not to see how his buttons were suffering as the BTS maknae expanded his chest and almost ripping out his shirt. (Check out the photo here).
