Jennifer Garner has been keeping tabs on what is happening in Ben Affleck's life and that includes his new girlfriend Ana de Armas. This is the new claim of a tabloid about the former couple.
According to Life & Style, Garner is "keeping a close eye" on de Armas as she doubted the intention of the Knives Out actress on having a relationship with Affleck. The tabloid alleged that the Alias star thinks Ana is just using Ben for his fame.
"Jen just wants the best for Ben and her gut is telling her that Ana is using him to make herself more famous," a source of the outlet claimed.
The insider clarified that Garner is not doubting de Armas talent as an actress but she is suspicious about her true intention to the actor. The Peppermint actress doubted Ana, allegedly, because the Cuban actress hasn't been trying to at least keep her romance with the Justice League actor in low key.
In the past weeks since it was confirmed that Ben and Ana are dating, the two have been spotted on vacation in Cuba and Costa Rica. When they returned to the U.S., they showed off some PDA moments while spending time together in LA.
The source added that though Ben wasn't happy with Jen's assessment of his new girlfriend, he is still taking her advice. Affleck has high regard for Garner's opinion because of their past and he trusts her.
Gossip Cop dismissed the rumor linking Garner's name into Affleck and de Armas' new romance. The outlet checked with a source close to the actor and confirmed that there is no truth about the Life & Style story. The truth is Garner has no issue with Ben dating his Deep Water co-star.
Ana de Armas couldn't be using the Argo star for fame as she already established a name in the industry. De Armas had worked with top-caliber stars and had starred in several critically-acclaimed movies such as Knives Out in which she got a Golden Globe nomination.
The 31-year-old actress worked with Bradley Cooper and Jonah Hill in War Dogs, Ryan Gosling and Harrison Ford in Blade Runner 2049, and Keanu Reeves in Knock Knock and Exposed. Ana will also appear as the new Bond girl in the upcoming Daniel Craig's James Bond film, No Time To Die. This shows that her relationship with Affleck had nothing to do with getting south-after roles.
Gossip Cop also noted that Life & Style has been notorious in making false stories about Garner and Affleck. Last month, it claimed that the Love, Simon actress was banning de Armas around her children with Affleck.
