Ben Affleck reportedly accepted that he and ex-wife Jennifer Garner will never get back together as he wished happiness for the actress and her new boyfriend John Miller. In a recent interview, the Justice League actor opened up about his sobriety and admitted that his divorce has been his biggest regret in life. However, this kind of interview is reportedly making Miller very uncomfortable.

A source of In Touch claimed all Affleck wants now is for Garner to be happy. The actor reportedly had a hard time accepting at first that Garner has a new man and his kids also have a father figure in their lives.

"That hit him hard, but it also helped him reevaluate and commit to his sobriety. Ben likes John now. He truly wants Jen to be happy," the insider said.

The source added seeing the Alias actress moving on from her failed marriage pushed Ben to move on as well. The actor and Miller are reportedly having a good relationship at the moment but it might change because of the former's recent interviews.

In his earlier talk with The New York Times, Affleck opened up about his divorce with Garner, his struggle with sobriety, and how Garner helped him. He also mentioned that he still feels the guilt of breaking his family.

However, according to Us Weekly, Miller is starting to become "uncomfortable" with Affleck's interviews. Apparently, the businessman is trying to be understanding about the actor's struggle with his sobriety, but he is also concerned that it is affecting Garner.

Miller reportedly understands that Affleck is speaking only about his own experiences and giving interviews is part of his job. But he also wanted Ben to consider how his actions would affect his former wife.

Ben and Jen ended their 10-year marriage in 2015. Garner and Miller, on the other hand, started dating in 2018.

The couple has been successful in keeping their romance private. Things are doing great between them as they manage to separate their private lives from the celebrity world of Love, Simon actress.

However, earlier rumors indicate that Garner is upset with Affleck for discussing their failed marriage in his interview to promote his new movie, The Way Back. Star cited a source as saying Ben's interviews are putting the mother-of-three actress in an awkward position with her boyfriend.

The actor, however, allegedly doesn't think he is disrespecting his ex-wife by opening up about his alcoholism and their divorce. The insider said it is hard for Affleck to talk about his new movie without being asked about his addiction struggles. When he does talk about it, his marriage and divorce are discussed as well.
