Ben Affleck's romance with Ana de Armas has just started but it is already hammered with rumors. There were earlier speculations that the Knives Out actress is pregnant with Ben's baby. New rumors have it that Affleck's friends are worried that his new relationship will cause him a relapse while Jennifer Garner is allegedly hoping that de Armas is ready to help Ben when he stumbles again.

The National Enquirer published a story this week claiming Affleck is getting too serious with his new romance with de Armas. A source of the tabloid claimed the Batman actor's friends have expressed their concern that Ben's "microwave romance" is moving too fast for him.

Affleck and de Armas have yet to officially confirm their relationship but they have made headlines this month after they were spotted having a romantic vacation in Cuba and Costa Rica. The two reportedly developed feelings for each other while working on their movie, Deep Waters.

The insider alleged Affleck is "head over heels" for the War Dogs actress. His friends reportedly feel he needs to get his life together first before committing to a new relationship.

"He really shouldn't be committing to any relationship until he's got at least a year of sobriety under his belt - at least not in the eyes of his sponsors and other friends in recovery," the source said.

The source added Ben's ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, hopes that de Armas fully understands what she is getting into. The Alias actress allegedly doesn't want to be the one who will pick up and send Ben to rehab when he relapses again.

Gossip Cop dismissed the rumors, saying a source close to Affleck assured that the actor's friends have no reason to be worried about his new relationship with the Cuban-Spanish actress. The publication noted that a source citing Affleck's AA sponsors is enough to doubt the story.

Affleck had a relapse in October last year. He since expressed his intention to get back on his feet and remain committed to his sobriety.

Gossip Cop noted claims that Affleck is not serious with his sobriety is baseless as the actor himself expressed his commitment to full recovery. In a recent interview on Good Morning America, the actor opened up about his family's history with addiction.

The Justice League actor revealed the lesson that he learned from his father, who was also an alcoholic. Affleck said his father taught him that it is important for him to remain sober for his children. Ben and Jennifer Garner have three kids together.
