There are still a few uncertainties when it comes to The Walking Dead season 10 finale, but one thing is for sure, Lauren Cohan's Maggie is returning in this episode. There have been previous speculations about the character, and it's now confirmed that she's indeed coming back. But then, the season finale may not be airing anytime soon, as the series shuts down its production due to COVID-19 concerns.

The preview of The Walking Dead season 10 finale has been released, wherein it featured the return of Maggie receiving a letter in a dead drop. The message starts with the news that some of Maggie's old Hilltop friends were dead, including Jesus, Tara, and Enid. The letter also described the Whisperers and what they're doing with their skin masks, as well as their horde.

Most of the characters are suffering and in danger this season. In addition, Beta has an enormous zombie horde that could be used to destroy the survivors as a measure of revenge. But, the preview also showed Gabriel offering some elements of hope. He said that there are still other people out there who could help them, and Maggie is probably one of them.

In the clip, Maggie was seen wearing a hat and a bandana, and two different groups could be connected to her: the "old west wagon train" or Fear the Walking Dead group. Maggie might also be connected to the Commonwealth, the group Eugene and company tried to come contact with once they meet up with Stephanie from the radio.

Regardless, it looks like Maggie will be a big help in The Walking Dead season 10 finale and could help the survivors fight against the Whisperers. It remains to be seen whether she'll have an army of her own at her back. But since she was gone for years, Maggie likely made some friends. She will be a big help to the group, especially now that some major characters are all gone.

Rick, Carl, and Michonne are all gone, so it only makes sense The Walking Dead season 10 finale would bring back a character like Maggie. She is a season 2 original and she may now have a larger role than when she left. Meanwhile, the release date of the season finale wasn't yet revealed, but AMC promised to release it as soon as they can.
