Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's big move to the U.S. is not going right. One royal expert thinks that the reason for this is because they left the U.K. in such a hurry because of a toxic environment.

Royal expert Leslie Carroll said in a panel interview that Prince Harry and Meghan no longer wanted to remain in England because the toxicity around them was not ideal for raising their son, Archie Harrison. Thus, they packed their bags without having a clear plan, especially when it comes to their finances.

Prince Harry and Meghan's security expenses has been a chief concern for some of the experts because it will cost them over $4.5 million a year to pay for their protection. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex might go broke from paying half of this cost and they also might not be able to pay for the renovation expenses at Frogmore Cottage.

However, Carroll said that Prince Harry seems to be in control of their situation. He has money from his trust fund from Princess Diana. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are also going to receive some money from Prince Charles, who has a private income from the Duchy of Cornwall, while they are looking for a new venture.

The problem, however, is that Prince Harry and Meghan cannot do much these days due to the coronavirus lockdown. According to another royal expert, the pandemic has cut the Sussexes ability to have significant income since they can't do meetings and close some deals.

Omid Scobie said in the Heir Podcast that if Prince Harry and Meghan will have challenges pursuing opportunities then they will have a tough time financially. Scobie also said that no one can tell the end date of the pandemic thus Prince Harry and Meghan's future in America could be uncertain.

Prince Harry and Meghan were supposed to launch their new foundation, Archewell, this April to signal their new chapter as non-working royals. However, the pandemic has marred their plans and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex said that they will launch Archewell at the right time.

Still, Prince Harry and Meghan was heavily criticized for announcing to the world about the name of their new foundation. The Sussexes, however, said that they needed to reveal the name since it is on public record and could be easily checked by anyone curious about their next plans.
