Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are starting a new life in the United States after living the royal life in England. It is already known that Meghan plans to revive her career in Hollywood but in different capacities like what she did with Disney documentary Elephant. Now, new rumors have it that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are planning to reign in Hollywood with the help of industry giants such as Angelina Jolie and Tom Cruise.

New Idea claimed in its latest issue that the couple has been setting their plan in motion for Meghan's Hollywood comeback. The Suits alum is, allegedly, trying to get Jolie and Cruise on her side. A source of the tabloid claimed that Jolie has been Meghan's inspiration just like Princess Diana.

Apparently, the Duchess of Sussex admires the Maleficent actress' ability to balance career, family, and charitable work. The two actresses don't know each other personally but the tabloid claimed they have connected using Zoom, the virtual meeting software that gained popularity recently because of self-isolation due to coronavirus pandemic.

"Angie has long hoped for a friend she can relate to in Los Angeles, and Meghan represents the best option by a long way," the source said.

New Idea also revived its earlier claim that Meghan and Cruise were planning to team up in a project. Earlier this year, the outlet reported that the former actress and Cruise have been planning her big comeback behind Harry's back. But it backpedaled a little in its new report and instead claimed that the Mission Impossible actor is meeting with both Harry and Meghan.

"Tom's a huge anglophile so he's dying to catch up with Harry and Meghan," the tabloid quoted its source as saying.

Gossip Cop debunked the new rumor linking the royal couple to Hollywood A-list stars. It also cited a source close to Cruise, who denied the rumor. It also noted that the supposed photo of Meghan and Cruise together earlier this year was photoshopped to look like they were walking and chatting together.

Gossip Cop also noted that New Idea has been floating several false claims about the Sussexes in the past month. In February, it implied that Harry and Meghan were on the verge of divorce.

In the same month, it implied that Harry and Meghan's son Archie was missing. It did not mention anything about the missing child in its inside story. Instead, New Idea noted how the couple has managed to keep Archie out the spotlight while they were living in Canada.
