Angelina Jolie and Kit Harington are working together in the upcoming Marvel movie, The Eternals. This is the first time the two work together on a project but it's, reportedly, enough for Harington's wife Rose Leslie to get worried.
The National Enquirer published a story this week claiming Leslie fears that Jolie will use her man's charm on her husband. In the article, titled "Kit's Wife Fears Angie's Games!," the Downton Abbey actress is, allegedly, concerned that The Eternals co-stars are spending a lot of time together while promoting their movie.
"Everyone knows that Angie is on the prowl for a man - and Kit is just her type...Rose trusts Kit, but it's Angie's reputation she struggles with. She knows that she stole Brad Pitt from under Jennifer Aniston's nose," a supposed source claimed.
The outlet also mentioned Harington attended 2019 Emmys without his wife, suggesting a tension between the couple. Harington and Leslie have been married for nearly two years now. They began dating while working together in Game of Thrones in 2012.
Gossip Cop dismissed the Enquirer report as pure speculation. Leslie's spokesperson also confirmed that the actress is not worrying about the Game of Thrones actor spending time with Jolie.
The publication also noted that it seems like the tabloid was not updated on what is happening in Hollywood. Like other film production companies, Marvel has announced a few weeks ago that the release date of The Eternals has been delayed to February 12, 2021, due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The movie was originally slated to premiere on November 6 this year. This means Jolie and Harington are not spending time together as The Eternals cast are not doing a press tour at the moment.
Gossip Cop also clarified that Leslie skipped the 2019 Emmys because of work commitments and nothing else. She, however, joined Harington at Golden Globes red carpet earlier this year.
The outlet noted that the Maleficent actress' reputation as a real-life villain and "man-hungry" is mainly because of how the tabloids presented her in their reporting. For instance, there were rumors that Jolie is planning to destroy Pitt by demanding full custody of their children.
Woman's Day also recently reported that Jolie is reigniting her custody battle with Brad following the actor and Jennifer Aniston reunion at SAG Awards. Then, the Globe followed it up with a claim that Tomb Raider actress will drag Aniston into court and force her to testify against Pitt.
