Prince George, 6, is spending the coronavirus lockdown binge-watching on television like many kids around the world. However, his mother, Kate Middleton, said that her first-born son loves watching David Attenborough's nature documentaries.

In a recent video call to school children, the Duchess of Cambridge revealed that Prince George enjoys watching Attenborough's award-winning documentary series Blue Planet as the family is observing isolation in Anmer Hall. Thus, Kate said that one of her favorite famous persons to have ever met is the highly-esteemed natural historian.

Kate met the environmentalist in person several times, according to Town & Country. Attenborough, who is the same age as Queen Elizabeth, is also a very good friend of the royal family. Prince Charles first met the nature expert in 1958, while Prince William calls Attenborough a "national treasure."

Last September, Kate had the privilege of naming a ship the RSS Sir David Attenborough during a special ceremony with Prince William and the honoree. The ship will apparently sail the northern hemisphere from March to October this year.

Meanwhile, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have been instilling the love for nature in their children at such an early age. They let Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis indulge in the outdoors and allow them to learn farming skills.

During this coronavirus quarantine, Prince George and his siblings have been calling their Grandpa Charles on the phone or video to ask him questions about animals or flowers. A source said that the Cambridge children often speak to Prince Charles about tips on cattle and lambs. Just like Attenborough, Prince Charles is also a conservationist and an environmentalist.

On their brief break from school in January, Prince George and his siblings apparently went lambing in Anmer Hall. This refers to the birth of lambs, which Prince William said made Prince George quite eager to help and Prince Charlotte a bit unsure of what to do.

The children also fed the lambs and learned dairy farming. Apparently, Prince William and Kate want their children. to enjoy the country way of life as much as they experience the city life in London.

In the midst of the lockdown, Prince George and Princess Charlotte have also been homeschooling with their parents as the guides. School has been out in London for several weeks now and it's still unclear if traditional classes will resume as the coronavirus has yet to peak and subside.
