Magnum P.I. season 2 episode 16 is scheduled to arrive this week on CBS, with the title "Farewell to Love." This episode proved to be fun and exciting, as we'll see Magnum and Higgins go undercover and will pretend as a couple. They went to a romantic place to investigate a particular case.
In Magnum P.I. season 2 episode 16, Magnum and Higgins will be going on a romantic bus tour. But then, there is something more beyond their seemingly romantic getaway. The two actually go undercover as a couple and things wouldn't be that easy for them.
Magnum and Higgins aren't going to profess their feelings for each other; they're actually on a romantic getaway to accomplish something. They join the romantic bus tour since this is part of a new case. They need to pretend as if they were together to get results.
In the promo, Magnum and Higgins visit one of the most romantic proposal spots in Hawaii. The two pretends to be sweet just like any other couple, but they got busted immediately by the tour guide. The two then revealed they were private investigators and went there to investigate.
Based on the synopsis, a love bird has been murdered and the evidence is quickly deteriorating in the Hawaiian heat. Things get more intense when Magnum dives after seeing a body by the waterfall, while Higgins asked everyone else to call 911.
Magnum is capable of getting the job done, but the case within this episode could get even more complicated than he initially thought. The good thing is that Higgins is on his side and their partnership helps them accomplish their missions.
And since Magnum and Higgins pretend as a couple in Magnum P.I. season 2 episode 16, some have been wondering whether or not they'll be an actual couple moving forward. CarterMatt noted there's still no guarantee for that. Yet, it's still nice to see them going on a journey together.
As for what else is coming, TC is shaken after running into his ex-girlfriend. We're going to see the character dealing with some pain from his past. Perhaps, the episode title referenced to his storyline. While he believes love isn't possible for him anymore, some things may change over time.
