Magnum P.I. season 2 episode 3 is still a few weeks away. However, there's one important question within this episode: Will Higgins leave or stay? In this episode, we're going to see Perdita Weeks' character being torn between choosing to leave Hawaii for MI6 or stay with Magnum.
In the synopsis of Magnum P.I. season 2 episode 3, Higgins will finally answer Magnum; whether or not she'll become his partner. Many are hopeful the two will still work together since their partnership has been one of the biggest selling points of the series.
Higgins and Magnum do have a great rapport, even without considering the work they do together. The two were exceptional, especially in solving problems and taking down the enemies. Within this episode, Higgins' decision might also impact the future of the series. While it would be fun seeing her in MI6, it would also mean she's being taken away from what viewers have grown to love.
At the premiere episode, Higgins told Magnum she had an offer to go back to her former organization -- an offer she's seriously considering. Although a lot of things happened to her with her past, she's still interested in giving the MI6 some attention. So, she needs to figure out what would be her decision in episode 3.
Now, the biggest reason for Higgins to stay is that she's got her family in Hawaii. That reason is probably enough for her to stay, and continue being a partner for Magnum. However, the MI6 also played a huge part in her life, which is something she couldn't easily walk away from.
Perhaps, the best thing Magnum can do is to give Higgins some time to think and decided. He also needs to remind her of all the great work they've done together. These two constantly find ways to make sure their clients could breathe a little bit easier. For now, there's no confirmed news that Week would leave her character, as well as the series.
But, from Higgin's decision, Magnum P.I. season 2 episode 3 will also see T.C. and Rick helping one of the latter's employees (guest star Deontay Wilder) after his car was stolen. Higgins and Kumu, on the other hand, are in danger as Robin's Nest is under siege by mercenaries storming the estate to find out the true identity of the White Knight, muse and literary hero of Robin.
Magnum P.I. season 2 episode 3, titled "Knight Lasts Forever," will air on Friday, October 11, on CBS.
