All Rise, recently, premiered on CBS, and the upcoming episode will further explore what the series is all about. Here's what viewers can expect in All Rise episode 2, titled "Long Day's Journey Into ICE."
In the synopsis of All Rise episode 2, an ICE agent pursues a defendant in Lola's courtroom. So, Lola needs to fend him off and determine the appropriate sentence for the offender at the same time. He is an undocumented immigrant, and his crime was just warning people of a grocery store selling spoiled goods.
The happenings in All Rise episode 2 hint where the series will go. The show will try to create an accurate portrayal of what it feels like being within the actual courtroom. It's also exciting to see the story focuses more from the perspective of the judge, and how they determine a case.
But, how will the show be different from others? The series will likely focus on the biggest and real issues that are going on in the world right now. For instance, All Rise episode 2 will feature an ICE agent who is trying to bring in an undocumented immigrant.
However, this someone who was brought in on crime was a good person he's just trying to help other people not to get sick from spoiled goods. He faces consequences since he's an undocumented immigrant, and in the real world, the consequences could be so much worse.
All Rise is a freshman CBS series. So, the question now is: will the show get much of a rise from the network's viewers? It's too early to answer that question for now. However, the show has potential, especially since it tackles relevant issues. But, will it also be a next great hit like the NCIS franchise?
Created by Greg Spottiswood, All Rise is a legal drama that follows caring Lola Carmichael (Simone Missick), a newly appointed Los Angeles county superior court judge. The series sees the lives and careers of judges, prosecutors, and public defenders working together for justice at an L.A. courthouse.
Other characters include District Attorney Mark Callan (plays by Wilson Bethel), court reporter Sara (Lindsay Mendez), public defender Emily Lopez (Jessica Camacho), officer Luke Watkins (J. Alex Brinson), Lisa Benner (Marg Helgenberger), Sherri Kansky (Ruthie Ann Miles), and Sara Castillo (Lindsay Mendez).
All Rise episode 2 will air on Monday, September 30 at 9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT, on the CBS.
