Prince Harry is, reportedly, having a challenging time adjusting to his new life outside of the royal family. A friend revealed that the Duke of Sussex's quest for independence and normalcy, after being in the royal spotlight, has been affected by the coronavirus crisis.

Dr. Jane Goodall,  the famous primatologist, confirmed that she has been in touch with Prince Harry after his big move from London. She revealed some details about the duke's current state after staying in Vancouver for five months and then moving to California to find new opportunities.

Goodall said that she's unsure how Prince Harry will map out his new career outside of the royal family. The Duke of Sussex has yet to do face-to-face meetings and an actual job search since many establishments in California are not operating due to the coronavirus lockdown.

Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle were supposed to launch their new foundation, Archewell, as they transition out of the royal family and change their former brand, Sussex Royal. The couple recently said, however, that they will put the launch on hold amid the COVID-19 pandemic. They also urged others to focus on tackling this global health crisis, which has been affecting countries and economies for months.

However, royal observers said that Prince Harry and Meghan's plan to take a break and focus on their son, for the meantime, might become problematic. Royal expert Omid Scobie shared that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex could be faced with some financial woes in the next few months as their plans are in the backburner.

Scobie said in his podcast show that the Sussexes was banking on the establishment of their new foundation to get their new life started. They had ideas about doing fundraisers after leaving the royal family. However, the lockdowns and quarantines because of the pandemic have prevented the Sussex pair to get that jumpstart.

Sources told People that Prince Harry and Meghan have not left their new home in Los Angeles as they have been following the government's guidelines and safety measures. They couldn't even see Meghan's mom, Doria Ragland, in person even as she lives a few minutes away.

However, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex apparently remain optimistic about the future. Sources said that Prince Harry and Meghan cannot wait to officially start their transition and next chapter as soon as the crisis is over. They have hired a new team of people to help them establish Archewell.
