ASTRO is ready to make a fresh comeback this May and they are greeting Arohas with all six members.
According to a report by Soompi, ASTRO will stage their comeback with JinJin, MJ, Cha Eunwoo, Moonbin, Rocky and Sanha. It can be recalled that after recording ASTRO's last comeback album Blue Flame, Moonbin had to sit out promotions because of health concerns.
After seeking treatment in a hospital, doctors advised Moonbin to take some time off to focus on his recovery. Now, it seems that Moonbin is back on his feet and ready to rejoin his members on stage.
ASTRO's comeback news comes as a welcome treat for their fandom, Aroha because several scheduled events like their fan meeting were canceled because of the Coronavirus outbreak in South Korea and other parts of the world.
In the meantime, individual members are also working on different projects. ASTRO's Cha Eun Woo, who recently appeared in SBS' Handsome Tigers series, is set to invade Master in the House as the cast's one day disciple.
It can be recalled that regular cast member BTOB's Seungjae recently left the show to focus on his solo career, rendering the cast missing the youngest member.
Based on the episode preview, the producer asks the members if they would like to welcome a new young member. Cha Eun Woo enters with his signature smile to the cheers of the cast.
For the upcoming episode, the cast, including Cha Eun Woo, hilariously gets competitive over the gifts that their new master brought them. They also vie for a spot on the 8'o'clock news to appear in the live broadcast.
Meanwhile, Moonbin landed the lead role in the web series The Mermaid Prince where he stars opposite Jung Shin Hye. The series is a fantasy romance that tells the story of a woman who travels to Gangwon Province after her graduation and meets the "mermaid prince," played by Moonbin.
Moonbin admitted that he was nervous about playing his role at first but he said his fellow actors helped him a lot in bringing the character to life.
"[For me,] I chose this work because even though it's a romance drama, the elements of mystery and fantasy made me think that there could be some interesting scenes. I wanted to be able to show various kinds of charm of myself," he explained why he chose the role.
The first episode of The Mermaid Prince aired on April 14 and will continue with a Tuesday and Wednesday 11 am KST timeslot on Seezn. It will also be aired Friday nights 9 pm KST on the Lifetime YouTube channel. After the completion of the web releases, all episodes will be shown on the Lifetime Television Channel.
