Sarah Ferguson knows how to spend her time wisely during the coronavirus outbreak and the United Kingdom lockdown. The 60-year-old writer launched her own YouTube channel to read daily storytime for kids to help them keep entertained in this time of crisis.

Using her own name, the channel now has 662 subscribers as of this writing. In her first clip, she explained why she wanted to have her own channel, saying she is "thinking of all the children that need a bit of magic."

Aside from organizing care packages for NHS workers on the front line, Sarah Ferguson promises to do storytime every day, teasing that there may also be special guests joining her. In a tweet, she reveals that she will be reading from her own book collection, which includes Tea for Ruby and Ballerina Rose, among others.

However, she later admits that she has yet a firm plan about the kinds of books she will read, assuring children that they won't be a long read but can be long books. "Let's get a bit of magic going," she ends her introduction video. Shortly, she drops her first storytelling clip, reading the book of Hairy Maclary by the New Zealand author and illustrator Lynley Dodd.

While talking about her new venture, Sarah Ferguson gives a rare glimpse of her home, Express noted. Although she is only sitting in one place, setting up her reading area in front of a window, her stunning garden can be seen behind her.

It shows a huge lawn that has several plants. From where she sits, it reveals a comfortable chair and candles all around her. Her table is covered with a burgundy cloth and has a number of stuffed toys on it. There are also two teapots, a unicorn one and an Alice in Wonderland-themed design.

Two of the plushies represent the main character of her most famous book, Little Red. Aside from that, there is also a unicorn stuffed toy in front of her.

In her first two clips, Sarah Ferguson can be seen wearing a loose green blouse and a hairband with two flowers on it. She is believed to be at the Royal Lodge, where she is self-isolating with former husband Prince Andrew, daughter Princess Eugenie, and son-in-law Jack Brooksbank.

The four are all busy helping the frontliners with what they need. Recently, newly released photos revealed the Duke of York packing care packages for the NHS workers.
