Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were out and about in the streets of Los Angeles right after Easter.  After weeks of staying at home, due to the quarantine orders of the California governor in this pandemic, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were seen for the very first time in public.

TMZ has the video of Prince Harry and Meghan as they delivered food to some folks in need in LA. The video showed the Sussex royals dressed so casually as they walked to the street. They had gloves and face masks on as protection against catching coronavirus.

Prince Harry and Meghan volunteered to deliver food to the clients of Project Angel Food, a charity that sends out meals to people with chronic illnesses. According to TMZ, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were caught on video delivering food to disabled residents in a low-income housing unit in West Hollywood.

The head of Project Angel Food told CBS that some of their clients did not know their meals were delivered by Prince Harry and Meghan. Richard Ayoub, the executive director, said that many actually had a delayed reaction so they received calls from their clients to confirm the identities of their delivery people.

Before the deliveries, Ayoub toured Prince Harry and Meghan at one of the facilities where Project Angel Food prepares the packed meals. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex also talked to the staff and some of their clients.

The director said that he was struck by one significant question Prince Harry asked of one client. Apparently, the royal wondered if their neighbors were checking in on them, especially since they are vulnerable. When the client said no, Prince Harry said that neighbors have to look out for each other.

Prince Harry and Meghan volunteered at Project Angel Food for two days. They made their first deliveries on Easter Sunday and came back to do another round of deliveries on Wednesday. Ayoub, however, doesn't know if the couple will come back, but he would like to get it across the Sussex pair that they were a huge help for relieving some of their drivers during this pandemic.

Project Angel Food usually gets less than 10 requests for food deliveries under normal circumstances. Since the quarantine orders to stop the spread of the virus, they have been getting 50 to 70 requests and their deliveries had to work round the clock.
