The Warriors wanting to get their hands on Giannis Antetokounmpo is an open secret. That would please the team's superstar Stephen Curry and surely the supporters of the Dubs will feel the same way. And why not as the Greek Freak is the reigning league MVP and is in a strong position to retain the title at season's end.

The fascination of Antetokounmpo wearing the GSW colors soon is reflected in a recent podcast by Greg Papa, who insisted there is a chance of the young superstar leaving the Milwaukee Bucks for the Bay Area. Papa was hoping that the question will be answered soon, hopefully when summer comes.

"We've been talking about this incessantly ... but the reality is, we're going to find out this summer," the podcast said, and per the report from Fadeaway World.

It appeared that the Antetokounmpo heading to the Warriors narrative is fired up by the likelihood that the 25-year-old could soon get frustrated by his stay with the Bucks. It's clear that he is out to win and Milwaukee is on top of the NBA standing right now. The team is also in the playoffs so it looked like that disappointment is in the cards anytime soon.

The chance indeed is quite little for a sudden exit by Antetokounmpo from the Bucks, and per NBC Sports the forward has shown zero indications that he is not happy with his current team.

At the same time though, the same report conceded that the star's sentiments could eventually change. Wearing an NBA ring, apart from fame and fortune, is on the agenda of the MVP and if that will not happen playing for the Bucks he can consider making the switch, which the Warriors fans are hoping will be in the summer.

This was echoed by Malika Andrews of ESPN, saying that the Bucks superstar's "long-term viability in Milwaukee will depend on how they compete for championships."

For his part, Antetokounmpo is not minding at all that his every move is interpreted by keen observers. He's not shy in admitting that the Warriors win his admiration and the club's franchise player is someone he respects and looks up to.

As the NBC report recalled, Antetokounmpo counts Curry as one of his favorite NBA players. Easily, fans in the Bay Area can see this as the star from a rival team dreaming playing alongside his idol.

And why not the speculations as just last Saturday Antetokounmpo killed time by playing NBA 2K20 and shared what he did in social media. He picked the Dubs to be his team and picked a feature player in the likeness of Curry.

Antetokounmpo wants to be with the Warriors and wishes he is Curry - that would be the assumption from fans and they can't be blamed for toying with the thoughts.
