Prince Harry and Meghan Markle deliver food to people in need in Los Angeles, but they are mostly self-isolating at home with their 11-month-old son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor. Ever since they arrived in the city of California, they have yet to accept any visitors or go out and about due to the coronavirus outbreak and nationwide lockdown. So, how are the Sussexes today?
A source told People that the couple only leaves the house when they do charity work, like when they collaborated with Project Angel Food to deliver food to people with critical illness and most vulnerable. They have been doing the cause for three consecutive times.
The first one was on Easter and then again on April 15 and April 17. It was also the only time that the public saw Prince Harry and Meghan Markle since they moved to L.A. from Canada in March after they officially stepped down as senior royals.
"Meghan said is she wanted to show Harry Los Angeles through the eyes of philanthropy," Richard Ayoub, Project Angel Food's executive director said. "There's obviously a great deal of love and selflessness between them."
Despite helping the organization, the new parents are taking advantage of their time together in a secluded compound in L.A. to connect to each other and find ways to support others. Although they like to keep their private lives private, the Duke of Sussex talked about how they spend time with one another, especially with Archie, during the quarantine.
In a video call with one of his patronages, WellChild, Prince Harry spoke to the parents in the U.K. who have sick children. Although everyone is in an unfortunate circumstance, he still sees a lot of positive things happening. However, having so much family time makes him question himself if he should be guilty of having a lot of it while others don't.
Meghan Markle's husband celebrates the moments that they are just on the floor "rolling around in hysterics." But, as a parent, it can't be helped that something may come up they can't avoid and have to deal with.
Hence, he understands the hardships that these parents go through, commending their resilience and strength. He knows there will be hard days for them. As a father of an 11-month-old kid, he can't imagine how tough the things they are going through.
Prince Harry revealed that they are "not too bad" in this time of crisis. Although everyone is going through a strange time, they are all experiencing the same thing in different ways. But the longer this challenging time goes on; he knows it will surely be hard for each and every one.
