French superstar Kylian Mbappe is unlikely to join a new team in the summer. The striker's current team, Paris Saint-Germain, has indicated that Mbappe will not be allowed to leave anytime soon. The earliest that the 21-year-old can make a switch is 2022, possibly after the World Cup in Qatar.

That appears to be the notice that the Parisians would want to send out, specifically for the big clubs looking to get the World Cup winner out for France in the next transfer window. Speculations are rife that Mbappe is a priority target by Liverpool and Real Madrid but PSG will not be discussing business with any of the two.

According to AS: "If Kylian Mbappe wants to join Real Madrid in the immediate future, he's going to have to earn it."

Real boss Zinedine Zidane has been vocal on his plans to bring the striker to Spain although Bernabeu has already made clear a deal will not be completed in June. Instead, Zidane will prepare a good signing plan next year and shoot for the Frenchman.

However, the same report indicated that even a switch in 2021 would not be allowed by PSG, at least without a struggle. Since Mbappe is viewed as a crucial component in the campaign for the Paris side to win the Champions League again, it would make sense to keep him until that goal is achieved.

Additionally, the young striker is preferred to remain in France football in time for the Qatar edition of the World Cup. So if PSG can make it happen, Mbappe will only be given his release once the prestigious competition over, and the country is hoping to retain the title.

PSG's resolve of preventing a jump by Mbappe in the summer was underscored in the recent hint that came from club sporting director Leonardo. He indicated that if the striker will continue to decline a contract extension, the club sees it fit to let the player walk for free in 2022 than sell him this year or on 2021.

The report said PSG's stand on the matter is not about money so no amount of transfer fee will persuade the club to reconsider.

Meanwhile, French football analyst Cyril Morin agrees that Mbappe will not transfer out this year. Morin is convinced that the striker will not join Liverpool because the player is not a good fit for Jurgen Klopp's side.

"There are two main reasons that Liverpool and Mbappe can't fit together. Firstly, Klopp's philosophy. For me, Mbappe isn't mature enough to assume the gegenpressing. He's still a young striker in terms of intensity and defensive effort, and I'm not sure he is mature enough to sign for Liverpool where you have to be part of the team, not one among 11," the Daily Star reported the expert as saying.
