Kate Middleton recently released a photo she took of her youngest son, Prince Louis, for his second birthday on April 23. Fans can't help but gush about how much the little prince looks like just his mother.
According to some friends, Kate actually loves that Prince Louis is her spitting image. The Duchess of Cambridge apparently thinks that it's the sweetest.
"She often jokes that he's the only one of her kids who actually looks like her," the friend said, per People.
While older sister Princess Charlotte is often compared to look just like her great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, Prince Louis seems to have stronger Middleton genes and actually looks like Kate's father, Michael Middleton. Royal fans also think the same of Prince Louis features, which resembles so much of his Grandpa Middleton. Some say, however, that Prince Louis is actually Prince George's mini-me.
"But George was like that and now started to resemble William, so Louis may change, too," one fan said, via Hello.
Kate shared a few snaps of Prince Louis dressed so casually smart in a blue checkered shirt. At two years old, the young prince has the same face shape and rosy cheeks as his siblings.
The Duchess of Cambridge captioned her photos of Prince Louis hilariously as "Instagram vs. Reality," a common meme format on the social media platform. She shared two sets of snaps with one photo featuring Prince Louis with paint all over his cute face.
The Cambridge family celebrated Prince Louis' second birthday while on lockdown at their country home in Norfolk due to the coronavirus pandemic. According to royal expert Katie Nicholl, the Duchess of Cambridge planned a tea party with just the five of them while she likely baked her son's birthday cake. Kate apparently spends the night before her kids' birthday planning a simple but special birthday surprise.
