The previous episode of The Blacklist season 7, titled Nyle Hatcher, delivered one of the most concerning stories so far this season. While the episode showed what happened to the Blacklister, the closing minutes featured an unexpected moment: Reddington faints.

Because of what happened, many speculated that James Spader's character is dying in The Blacklist season 7. There have been hints that something was wrong with Reddington for quite some time now. In addition, there have been buried clues in several stories already.

Although there's no indication that the character is leaving, there's still a concern here. As per CarterMatt, there's a possibility that Reddington won't it through the end of the series. However, it's also hard to imagine the series without Spader, considering that he's the forefront of the show.

Moreover, another major concern here is whether or not Reddington's health may have a long-time effect on other characters. Some of them may likely question his mortality, while others may question his future running the Task Force.

Right now, we're still going to see Reddington in the series moving forward. His health-scare may be addressed at some point this season. The current installment still has three more episodes left, so some information and clues may surface along the way.

Beyond Reddington's health concern, there are also other stories worth exploring in The Blacklist season 7 -- including Dembe's Imam. His name is Sadiq Asmal and he serves as an important spiritual adviser to Dembe. He's also aware of Dembe's work with Reddington, but not in detail.

At the end of the previous episode, it was revealed that Katarina Rostova captured Imam. It's a big question why did she take this man in particular. But perhaps, she could use Imam to get Dembe, and then get information about Reddington.

Dembe knows a lot of things involving Reddington. Hence, Katarina comes up with another plan by kidnapping Imam, as capturing Ilya didn't do anything. This may cause Reddington to feel guilty, and he'll eventually hand down the information to Katarina.

Another problem here is that no one knows -- aside from Liz -- about Katarina being alive. If ever Imam finishes working with her, there's a chance she'll kill him as she won't let his man loose on the outside world knowing that she's alive.

The Blacklist season 7 airs its new episode every Friday night on NBC.
