Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are likely going to be back in the royal family after a year. Royal experts discuss that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be missing their former royal life, especially Prince Harry.
Arthur Edwards, a royal photographer, feels that Prince Harry and Meghan will be back to the fold once the coronavirus pandemic is over. He said that despite Prince Harry's many faults, the people of the U.K. still love the Duke of Sussex so he will likely be accepted back with open arms.
"The love this country has for him has never stopped," Edward said. "As far as the nation is concerned, he is still their number one member of the Royal Family."
Another royal expert, Katie Nicholl, said that Prince Harry will be missing much of his birth country while staying in Los Angeles with Meghan. He is apparently feeling this loss a lot more due to the coronavirus isolation because there is not much he can do.
However, Nicholl believes that they will not take any risks this time due to the threats of spreading the virus. They also would like Archie to be settled into a routine, hence their return to the U.K. could happen by next year -- when it's presumably safer to travel.
Prince Harry and Meghan decided to step back from their royal duties because of the pressure of being in the media spotlight. They have been since the fall of 2019, when Meghan confessed on television that she was not okay with the negative press about her.
This has led the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to file a lawsuit against the British tabloid press. One of these lawsuits recently had its preliminary hearing this April, which happened virtually due to the lockdown orders.
According to reports, this was a strike-out hearing that will help the judge determine if there must be a trial. There were no witnesses presented just yet but Prince Harry and Meghan apparently listened into the virtual courtroom.
If the judge decides to have the trial, Meghan will likely go head-to-head with her father, Thomas Markle, in court by 2021. He is a key person for the defense team because it was his letter, which Meghan wrote, that the press used to publish damaging reports against the Duchess of Sussex.
Meghan and Thomas have not seen nor talked to each other in over two years since their estrangement. Thomas contended that his daughter has abandoned him but the Sussex royals' lawyers recently released proof that Meghan and even Prince Harry made attempts to get in touch with him, especially after learning that his health was not okay.
