Queen Elizabeth touched a lot of hearts during her televised coronavirus pandemic message to Britons earlier this month. Her Majesty thanked frontline NHS staff, care workers, and people who have been helping out during the global health crisis.
Queen Elizabeth’s message was not just to rally against the coronavirus pandemic, but also to give hope for the people. The Monarch then acknowledged the difficulties that the people are dealing with during the COVID-19 outbreak, such as “financial difficulties” and “enormous changes.”
After seeing her speech, Britons took to social media to praise Queen Elizabeth. The Royal family, especially Her Majesty, are huge inspirations to the public, which is why her speech meant a lot to many.
Although Queen Elizabeth appeared to be hopeful for the UK’s fight against the coronavirus pandemic, she must be prepared for the unexpected, such as WW3. The possibility of a World War 3 recently spiked due to North Korean Supreme Leader Kim Jong-un’s health condition.
Experts warned that Kim Jong-un’s death could lead to WW3, which will be started by the USA and South Korea. While these claims remain as speculations for now, Queen Elizabeth already has a secret speech prepared for World War 3. The speech was written in 1983 and was made public in 2013.
“Now, this madness of war is once more spreading through the world and our brave country must again prepare itself to survive against great odds,” it read. "I have never forgotten the sorrow and the pride I felt as my sister and I huddled around the nursery wireless set listening to my father's [George VI's] inspiring words on that fateful day in 1939 [at the start of World War II]. Not for a single moment did I imagine that this solemn and awful duty would one day fall to me. But whatever terrors lie in wait for us all, the qualities that have helped to keep our freedom intact twice already during this sad century will once more be our strength.”
Just like in her coronavirus message, Queen Elizabeth also urged everyone to unite in her WW3 speech. Her Majesty then ended her World War 3 message saying, “As we strive together to fight off the new evil, let us pray for our country and men of goodwill wherever they may be. God Bless you all.” (Read Queen Elizabeth’s full speech here).
Meanwhile, South Korea remains mum regarding the real status of Kim Jong-un’s health. Its government only said that the rumors of North Korea leader’s fragile condition are untrue.
