Kate Middleton is one of the most popular and well-loved members of the Royal Family. However, things were not always easy for the Duchess of Cambridge.

The wife of Prince William dealt with public scrutiny when she joined the Royal family in 2011. Now, a new report claims that Kate Middleton may be facing the same problem once Prince Charles becomes King.

"Kate Middleton was heavily criticized when she first joined the Royal Family and might end up facing that scrutiny again when Prince Charles is King," online magazine The Talko reported. "In order to appeal to as many people as possible, members of the Royal Family try not to get political. The Queen is supposed to remain politically neutral but some people wonder if Prince Charles will change things… He’s been outspoken on certain topics like global warming and even Prince Harry believes it’s important to modernize the British monarchy. If Prince Charles decided to push the boundaries of tradition, Prince William and Kate will have to get on board and help keep the family current and relatable."

Prince William and Kate Middleton have always supported Queen Elizabeth and they are expected to do the same with Prince Charles. Their popularity will be a big help for the monarchy’s possible new tradition, but they may also be getting hate over it.

Meanwhile, Prince William and Kate Middleton ramped up their royal duties as Queen Elizabeth and Prince Charles remained in isolation due to the coronavirus pandemic. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have been increasing their efforts to support NHS staff and social carers’ mental health during the global health crisis.

The Project titled Our Frontline aims to help NHS frontline heroes struggling with heir mental health as they deal with the situation. Prince William paid tribute to all who have been sacrificing due to COVID-19 in a heartfelt message.

Before the lockdown, Prince William and Kate Middleton visited an NHS center in South London to support the frontline workers and discussed the matter with the staff and officials regarding the coronavirus outbreak, where they were confronted with a “horrendous” reality. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were then left feeling “extremely concerned” over everyone’s safety.

"On April 1, William and Kate spoke to staff at two hospitals, including the Queen's Hospital in Burton which is where sadly the first confirmed hospital frontline worker died from coronavirus,” ITV News Producer Lizzie Robinson said. "They're very much involved and trying to kind of play their part and still carry out some kind of role even if that has to be on the telephone."
