Magnum P.I. season 2 episode 18 is coming on Friday on CBS, with the title "A World of Trouble." The situation is getting more complicated for Magnum and Higgins, as they're potential wedding is approaching. Will the two finally tie the knot within this episode?
In Magnum P.I. season 2 episode 18, Magnum and Higgins' wedding day is approaching. This apparent celebration isn't something that they really planned, but they need to do it anyway. Higgins' visa is expiring and marrying Magnum could likely be her only option to stay in the United States.
Higgins' plans of an extension have also failed and she's nearing the end of her 180-day extension. Because of these several complications, there have been concerns regarding Perdita Weeks' fate in the show. But, there is no indication that the actress is indeed leaving, given that she's a series regular.
Higgins is just running out of options and her only choice now is to marry Magnum. Good thing is that he's there and ready to offer a helping hand. While there is no feeling involved here, the two may recognize what they feel towards each other along the way.
Although they're wedding is approaching, Magnum P.I. season 2 episode 18 still sees Magnum and Higgins taking on another new case. They'll be helping a modern-day Robin Hood, who thinks she's helping a school obtain needed supplies. However, she didn't know she actually stole illicit drugs.
Meanwhile, Rick will help a retired soldier in need, who has a difficult task of re-entering the workforce as a civilian. Moreover, the good news here is that the episode features the returns of Hawaii Five-0's Taylor Wily and Shawn Mokuahi Garnett.
Wily and Garnett will reprise their roles as Kamekona and Flippa, respectively. This episode proved to be an interesting one, considering that Magnum P.I. and Hawaii Five-0 shared a universe. Getting them back in this episode is also a reminder that they are still out there even though Hawaii Five-0 has come to an end.
But aside from Wily and Garnett, Bobby Lee also returns as Jin within this episode. The character has been one of the best recurring characters in the series. He's one of the notable recurring players within this world, and it would be nice to see him more moving forward.
Magnum P.I. season 2 episode 18 will be airing on Friday night, May 1, on CBS.
