Meghan Markle is, allegedly, drawing up plans to relaunch The Tig, her defunct lifestyle blog. Apparently, the Duchess of Sussex wants to compete with Gwyneth Paltrow who runs the popular lifestyle website Goop.

Myka Meier of the podcast Royally Obsessed said she found out that Meghan is going to revive The Tig through a friend with a knowledge of the project. Meghan will also be opening a new Instagram account specifically for her lifestyle website.

"I think we will be seeing something very interesting and creative with masterminds from all over the world coming together to bring something inspiring soon," Meier said.

Meghan's The Tig, and subsequently her personal Instagram account, were shut down in 2017 when her relationship with Prince Harry turned serious. The Tig used to touch on everything the Duchess of Sussex loved -- food, fashion, travel, as well as health and beauty tips.

Similarly, Paltrow's Goop, which she started in 2008, also featured the same niches. The A-lister, however, built an empire around Goop that has branched off into a Netflix show, a lifestyle store, and several fashion collaborations.

Thus, a lifestyle website could be something lucrative for Meghan and Prince Harry after they've stepped back from their royal roles since March 31. Since they cannot make money of their royal status, Meghan could use this platform as part of their new branding as public figures.

According to 9Honey, Meghan may even share parenting stories and insights in her new lifestyle blog. The website could also be a potential money-earner for the Sussexes, who have said that they would like to have financial independence from the royal family.

Meanwhile, after Meghan embarked on a project with Disney to narrate the documentary Elephants, it's now Prince Harry's turn to lend his voice to an episode of the children's show Thomas the Tank Engine for its 75th anniversary. According to Hello, Prince Harry was a big fan of the show as a three-year-old.

"I certainly have fond memories of growing up with Thomas & Friends and being transported to new places through his adventures," Prince Harry revealed. "I am very proud to have been asked to take part in this special episode."

Prince Harry recorded his bit in the special in January. The episode will feature his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, and father, Prince Charles, as animated characters. The royal family was aware of Prince Harry's work for this series and his earnings have been donated to a charity.
