IU and Suga's collaboration is one of the most anticipated comebacks for May and the BTS member recently spoke up about the digital single 8, which will be released on May 6.

BTS Suga was tapped to compose and produce the digital single along with IU and the song promises to be a major hit upon its release. RM recently vouched for the song on Suga's radio show and teased the audience about its appeal, Soompi reported.

"I like it. The production process was very smooth so there weren't a lot of back-and-forths. I wrote the beat and the melody came quickly after that. After I finished working on it, I listened to it a lot. After I finish working on a song, after it's released, I don't usually listen to it. Because I can only hear the things that I wish I could do better. The moment it leaves my hands, I think the song belongs to the listeners," Suga said.

EDAM Entertainment earlier announced the collaboration of the two talented singer-songwriters and said that IU will be dropping the MV for 8 on the same day as the release of the digital song.
