Odsonne Edouard of Celtic FC is on the list of players that Arsenal FC wants to get, and it appears the Bhoys are ready to talk business. However, the Gunners will have to cough up big money for the transfer to materialize, roughly around $25 million.

According to Goal.com, this is the set price given for the 22-year-old striker. The interest in Edouard is believed to be in preparation for the potential exit of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who has yet to sign a new deal with Arsenal. A reason for this is possibly because most feel that the 30-year-old would best move out and join a more ambitious team.

At least one person is convinced that Arsenal will go for Edouard and pay the hefty transfer fee. Frank McGarvey feels that any of the Premier League teams will give in to the Celtic's demand, possibly in the next few months. He points out how talented Edouard is and why Celtic has all the right to price him that high given their current situation and the growing interest, the Scottish Sun reported.

“Edouard has that ability to produce something out of nothing because he has such quick feet," McGarvey said. “I think someone will come in this summer and put £20m on the table for him. You can’t blame Celtic for taking it, especially in the current climate."

But a problem may loom over the horizon. As most know, Arsenal is not spared from the fact that most teams will be tightening up their belts after this season. With no games, the league and teams are feeling the financial part of it all, hinting that some big deals may not go down at least after this season.

For the Gunners, it is not solely about spending big on one player like Edouard. The truth of the matter is that they have multiple targets in mind. They are also eyeing Willian of Chelsea FC, someone who wants a reasonable deal but on a three-year term. The Blues were only willing to give him a two-year deal, although that is subject to change.

If there was a choice between Willian and Edouard, it all depends on what Mikel Arteta wants. Will it be experience or youth? The answer to that may depend on how he can juggle the Gunners' finances. It will be a tricky situation, but Edouard can just sit back and wait. His contract does not end until 2022, so all Arteta has to worry about is losing the race if some other team pays the demanded transfer fee of The Bhoys.
